Construction Details:

I made everything that I wear for this costume. The flip flops are just a pair of cheap brown flip flops that I cut off the plastic parts and made the leather straps for. The shorts I made out of really light denim material and a bit of fuzzy white fleece for the trim. The vest is just plain broadcloth, and pretty simple. The had is from Michaels that I pretty much destroyed the rim and added the red ribbon to.

Personal Thoughts:

Luffy is possibly my favorite character to cosplay because I see myself in him more then any other character.
