Construction Details:

We worked as a team for this. All of our armor is craft foam and expanding spray foam that's been papermached, clay covered, sanded and painted. Most of the fabric work is by Animus, our Umi. Most of the prop stuff, like our swords, was thought up and worked out by me and Sarah (Hikaru).
Armor takes a few hours each weekend, just working on it in phases. It's easiest when there's all three of us working. Sword construction has mostly been thought up and engineered by me with some help from my dad, who does woodwork as a hobby. Once I finish my 6 foot 6 inch sword I will explain how I put it together. =)

Personal Thoughts:

An MKR cos is something I've wanted to do for a while now, and finally an opportunity has presented itself. I'm very excited to do this. Fuu has long been my favorite character, design wise. Her sword I have envied for years and now I get the chance to craft my own! I believe this has sparked an obsession: all of my following cosplays will be MKR and Fuu. The hard parts are done: Sword!

Wig Review

I didn't like how the wig turned out. I'll likely start over, because it just looks awful.
