Construction Details:: Pretty basic stuff. Two layer circle skirt with pre-made ruffle trim. This stuff is GOD when it comes to ruffles on maid outfits. Saves so much time. However, I need to really take in my skirt since I made it over a month ago and it is waaaaaay to big on me. I had to pin it just to keep it from falling off. Oops. Skirt and vest are made of a stretch twill. Vest if fully lined and closes with flat hooks (my new BFFs in sewing). Under skirt layer and white top are made from left over casa satin (finally using up all the left over Serenity fabric from last year!).

The top was drafted off another top that I liked the cut of so that made things really easy. The same ruffle trim I used in the skirt is on the shirt collar, with additional ruffle trim that I have had laying around for ages. Top closes with hook and eyes.

Cuffs and hair bow, also casa satin, also using the same trim as the top. Hair skull was made by Kasou of Paperhearts Cosplay yeeeeeeeeears ago and I finally got to use it! YEA!

Wig, shoes, and socks all from previous costumes.
Personal Thoughts:: A. It's Yoko. B. You Can never have enough maids. C. Maid+Yoko =WIN.

How was the wig colored?: Sharpie
Styling Notes: Two wigs = one! I used a clover for the base. Added extra wefts to the sides and then pulled it up and stubbed it. The Ivy wig has a styrofoam ball sewn/glued into it at the top. This was then attached to the stub. At one point I added extensions to make this wig's length accurate, but it made it so heavy I couldn't wear it for more than 30mins without dying. So I yanked it out and left it as is. ONE THING I want to mention is that this version of Cosworx wigs WILL NOT CURL. I've tried everything and they will not hold any shape but straight. Very disappointing. Manageability is pretty decent though.
Wig Review: This wig is a beast. It has been redone so many times that I can't remember all the different things I have tried to make this wig look better, be lighter, more comfortable, and easier to manage. I think it's on it's last leg and a new version will need to be made soon if I want to keep doing Yoko outfits!
