Construction Details:

The form for the head was created by papermacheing a beachball. Once I had a nice thick base I removed the beach ball and cut the papermache dome in half.
I used chichago screws and wonderflex to create a hinge on the jaw so that the mouth could open and close.

I covered the dome in fleece because it had a slight stretch and could be molded on top with no seams. The eyes nose and ears were done in felt, and teeth in foamies, since the would be soft for any heads that might find themselves squished between the teeth.

The body is a large tube of black felt.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my favorite cosplay props to date. I created this puppet for a skit but love it so much.
