About this Costume
Construction Details:
The brim of the hat is very stiff craft-fuse covered in blue suede with wire around the edge attached with bias tape. The shape is mostly held up with wire.

The dress is a normal pattern, not much changing there.

The wings have a copper tubing skeleton with chicken wire for the shape, covered in felt, and the feathers hot glued on. I got them custom dyed to match the dress :D Took foreeever to get the wings to work though. At first they were crooked and the harness was hard to get on, but I've improved it a lot since the first time.

I sewed the shawl and sewing on a few yards of white marabou boas... Tedious, but I saved a lot of money doing it, normally a shawl like this will run you $100+.
Personal Thoughts:
My most challenging costume yet! I designed it myself, loosely based on a character of mine.
