Construction Details:

Lizzy made a powerpoint tutorial for the overskirt so all four of us would match. It's made of cotton with tulle layers to give it poof, and closes with three bits of velcro. The apron top is actually attached to the t-shirt, which was sewn out of jersey knit. The wristband was made with a scrap of that knit material.

The bows were a team effort. Xander painted the polka dots, and Celesdragon assembled them. The silver bows on the necklace were made from shiny origami paper by Agent Bishie, and were glued onto a pink chain. (I did manage to destroy this during a skit rehearsal, thank goodness for hot glue!) I already owned the headband, it was made by my friends at Athena's Wink.

Personal Thoughts:

This music video is so cute, silly and catchy! When deciding which outfit to cosplay, our group decided to go for both, so this tears away to reveal a plaid dress underneath. I chose Chanmi mainly because I liked her hairstyle.

Styling Notes

I teased the front and pinned it back in small sections, then added the headband.

Wig Review

When I first took this out of the packaging and tried it on, it looked like a full-blown mullet! Luckily a little styling made it work.
