Construction Details:

Coat/top is made of black wet spandex and white stretch moleskin. I used a princess seam dress pattern, with alterations for the cut outs and black sections on top. The coat/top is faced at top. I choose not to line as I didn't want the weight of the lining to inhibit the flow of the fabric. I also put horse hair in the bottom hem to help with how I wanted the hem to lay. The dash marks and Xs were heat and bonded on and then stitched down.

Shorts are made of the same wet spandex used in the top. I made the shorts and then cut out the opens. The Xs are made with elastic and then sewn down. Shorts were blind hemmed.

Boots are gogo boots were shortened. White designs were heat and bonded on. Black parts glued.

Gloves from an older costume. Necklace is made of black spandex and white metallic spandex.

Wig is actually my old Eclair wig just restyled.

Personal Thoughts:

It's a new year, so new Eclair costume. Keeping the yearly new Eclair costume tradition alive!

LOVE this wig. I've had it since 2007 and it still is in great condition.
