Construction Details:

I love stretch PVC xD that said- this costume was very fun to make. i drafted all of the patterns from scratch based on measurements and a series of mock ups. i love working with crisply shaped and topstitched seams, and this costume was all about that. the closure is an invisible zipper in the back. all of the blue lines were hand painted with a squeeze bottle. i made the horns with a slightly different method than usual- it's a flower foam base covered in modeling paste which was then sanded, painted with gesso, then painted in the colors. i love to attach my horns with large snaps through the wefts of the wig to some felt attached to my wig cap. it makes a really comfortable and seamless attachment.

Personal Thoughts:

Ahh Mindfang... one of my absolute favorite characters. i've been anticipating making and wearing this costumes for months- i'm so happy to have made it!! i think i'll get a lot of use out of this costume, i can't wait to wear it again *u* and for such a satisfying costume, it fit very nicely into a budget!
