About this Costume
Construction Details:
The majority of this costume is slightly off-white poplin lined with cheap white lining fabric; the purple fabric is sateen. The pants are a modified Simplicity pattern with Wisely's hanging sash and cuffs attached. The shirt (if you can call it that) is loosely based on a bodysuit pattern that I used mostly to make sure the collar lined up correctly. The eye is extra-thin craft foam sandwiching more of the purple sateen.

The turban was more difficult than I'd thought it would be and took me almost a week to get right. It's three seperate parts (a headband and two tails) that attach with pins and velcro. It's heavier than I'd imagined and it's a constant struggle to keep it from pulling my wig too far up on my head.

The last thing I'll add is that I used a staggering amount of body tape to hold this costume onto me. For the most part, it worked really well; the "tattoo" stayed perfectly in place the entire day.
Personal Thoughts:
At the time I made this costume, no color pictures of Wisely (in this getup, anyway) had been released. The color scheme here was what Placidmage and I came up with.

Wig Review
Thank heaven for that turban/headband, because otherwise, all of the wefts would have been exposed. The fibers on this wig are thin and translucent. I don't recommend this brand of wigs in white.
