About this Costume

The jacket was made from a jacket pattern that I altered quite a bit to get the desired look. This required completely drafting a new collar pattern and changing the sleeves from being set-in to raglan. The souls for the front and back were satin-stitched on. The headband was made with fleece and the buttons are made with craft foam that I glued onto the headband. The teeth were made with fake nails that I cut down to fit each of my teeth (8 on both the top and bottom) and adhered with Poly-grip, which works well but probably isn't the best thing out there. They required re-application every couple hours and I had to use just the right amount--too much and it would ooze out and too little and they wouldn't stay on. The shoes were something too, and admittedly they look kinda ridiculous haha. But I used fabric and thick interfacing with a platform sandal base (needed to try to be comparable to my Death the Kid)! The pants and undershirt were bought and modified to fit. Photos thanks to Jolt Photography!
Wig Details
- Styling Notes
- The wig was styled using Got2B Glued and hairspray. I did some heaving cutting to sculpt the spikes, would cover them in product, and use a hairdryer to get them to stay in place.
- Wig Review
- It's pretty thick. It looks better not to have crimped fibers near the base, but that means a little more work is needed to get the spikes to stay up.
