This costume was made for Sakuracon 2012 to be a group with my friends as the mane six. (Which I will also make).

Construction Details!
For the Jumper I used 2.88 yards of Pink Stretch Cotton (The receipt calls it Lisette Solid). This fabric is 6.99 a yard. But, When I went to the store I only wanted two yards there was only .8 yards left on the bolt so she gave it to me half price. Making my total cost for fabric 13.98$ A Total Steal!

The skirt of the jumper is a basic circle skirt. I used my trusty poodle skirt pattern as a base then added my own measurements. After that I added the waist band to fit my natural waist. This is where I put the zipper. In the end it is hidden by the huge bow! The only problem with putting the zipper on the waist band without it extending into the skirt is that the dress is a bit hard to take off due to my waist being smaller than my bust. I then added the straps. There were just measured and hemmed then attached to the dress. Under the dress is a blue petticoat from Leg Avenue. It's super awesome.

The Cutie Mark on the dress is made of the same Buttons on the straps. then the "stems" were hand embroidered on.

The top is actually just a top from my closet. xD I may get a white shirt though rather than the blue.

The ears in the test photos are on a headband and are made of fleece. I have ordered ears from Yaya Han that should be coming soon.
