This wig was so much work! >__< I really loathed working on this wig. I had never done anything like this before. I learned a lot and am proud of it!

Styling Notes

I used a long pigtailed Arda wig for the base and then cut off the ponytails and stubbed it. However, I also stole some hair from the pigtails and used it for the bangs. I cut and shaved styrofoam into the odd pigtail shapes and used foam to form the ends with triangle pieces I cut out. I then used chalk to attach all the hair to the foam. I had to wait for many layers to dry. It turn FOREVER! Afterwards I used hairspray to hold the hair down enough so that I could use hair gel to form the tips. (I waited for one spike to dry before doing the next one.) After the tips were formed I hairsprayed the pigtails down better. I made the hairbands with some leftover fluff and red fabric. The puffy hairbands were handsewed together and slid onto the stubs before I used chalk to glue the styrofoam to the wig. After a week of letting it sit, I sewed invisible thread into the wig to pull up the pigtails a little.
