Construction Details:

My most detailed costume yet.

Headdress: Used interfacing for shaping and covered with blue material, glued gold cord around the top of the hat, used gold lamei for the sides and spray painted a toy cobra gold adding red fake rubies for the eyes.

Mantel: I used a the backing of a seat cover, cut a hole and covered it in blue material along with gold lemei for the sides. I drew an ankh symbol, stenciled it on cardboard, cut it out and glued the gold material on it. Lastly I took some beige fake silk material, hemmed the ends of after following a cape design, and attached the ends of it at the end of the mantle to have go underneath.

Gold cuffs: I used gold lamei material and covered foam for my forearms attached with black velcro.

Gold collar: I used gold lamei material over light weight interfacing.

Decorative blue flap with gold cummerbun: I used gold lamei material and interfacing with white thick elastic that fastens with a button. I attached a silky blue material for the decorative flap both front and back.

Millienum rod: I crafted it out of wood, spray painted it gold and added door clasps with a rubberstopper for the eye part.
