About this Costume
- Construction Details:

Dress is a stretch cotton sateen, shoes are from Target.com, and I scrounged around Wal-Mart and JoAnns for the gold accessory stuff.
The dress was kind of a pain. I tried a pattern that had the neckline I wanted, but it ended up being too loose. With the silhouette I was going for, I needed more structure and at least a pattern that was going to use a zipper. I tried buying a dress after I failed the first time making it, but that was too big. So, I just modified the pattern I had and went with that. Didn't turn out perfect, but really, it's Panty. So long as I'm blonde, wearing red, and can flip off the camera on command, I think it's fine. - Personal Thoughts:
- We were doing a small PSwG group for Youmacon, and I volunteered to do Panty to match my friends' Stocking (Angelskiss2007 here on ACP) and Brief. The demon sisters are my favorite, and definitely more my style, but hey, you can't beat being an in-character misfit for the photoshoots, right?

- Styling Notes
- The spike-y bangs and the wonky flip up top were styled basically the same way as my Scanty bangs. I separated out the bangs into parts, trimmed them into pointed pieces, then used Got2Be hair glue on the ends. The top piece was separated, I applied quite a bit of heat while holding it straight up, and trimmed and glued just like the bangs.
- Wig Review
- Arda's wigs are incredibly easy to style. The heat-resistance makes all the difference. I love that the colors are mixed as well. It lends some realism to the wig.
Still have to worry about tangling with the longer wigs, but I've always been able to get out the tangles with some time and patience.
Honestly, whenever I have a new cosplay, I always go to Arda first to see if they have what I need. I'm always a little sad if they don't because I know how awesome their wigs, and they themselves, are, and I don't particularly care for any other brand I've found so far.
