Construction Details:

This cosplay was a group effort. There are two "cagehead" characters in Fatal Frame IV. My friend Chris and I decided to do these characters because the look is just too much fun. As an art student, he had access to tools I didn't. So he did a lot of the general designing and construction. The cages are made out of styrene and dowels. I painted both cages (about 6 different colors of acrylic paints), as well as distressed the clothing. For that process, I used a combination of shoe polish, wood finish, tea, and charcoal. Needless to say the outfits smell pretty odd. Haha
