About this Costume
Construction Details:
Top - The top is probably the only thing I dislike. It sucked to make! I couldn't find the fabric I wanted, but what I did find was some kind of silk fabric that had a velvet look to it. I love the fabric, but it had no stretch and that's why I will never be satisfied with the drape. The front is actually cut on the bias, but it doesn't help that much. And the colour! I wish it had more of a purple to it, but it's alright. If you shove in-game Morrigan in the light, she has a bit more red to her top. Oh well. It could be worse?

Necklaces - I'd like to think there are 3 necklaces. The first one is made of leather and the gold pieces are molded leather (which you can barely see) and painted with acrylic. The second necklace is made of model magic, sculpey, resin, mod podge, and acrylic paint. As for the last necklace, I just bought some 1" pearls and strung them using wire. Thumbs up~

Boots - Of course I chose to make this costume in the summer because no stores are selling boots and the previous fall had a bunch of boots that would've worked perfectly! I found a decent pair on ebay, but I was hoping for something more fitted to the leg. /perfectionist Other than the base, I added a craft foam piece to the bottom and a few vinyl straps.

Sleeve/Pauldron - The sleeve is made of leather, but the pauldron is leather molded over wonderflex with schlappens feathers glued to the top. There's also a leather trim glued around the edges.
