Construction Details:

Pretty straight-forward! We didn't make really extravagant designs since these were just comfy Sunday costumes. My wig is from eBay, it required minimum styling. The horn is made out of paperclay; sanded, painted, and glazed. I found the dress at a Chicago thrift store, then I bought a giant pack of rhinestones and bedazzled it to Equestria and back! The shoes are from my closet; the earrings and necklace were also thrifted. And the tiara was found at a Chicago costume store.

Personal Thoughts:

A fashion designer pony who's sassy and fabulous? More like my spirit animal! It was SO much fun wearing this with our full MLP group at Youmacon! We're planning to wear them again at Ohayocon, and chances are I'll revamp mine if I have the time/money between everything else I have to do, but I'm excited for it either way!
