Construction Details:

I made the multi-colored pleated skirt without a pattern and the t-shirt was dyed using auqamarine rit dye (1/8 tsp. to a cup ratio). The scarf was also made without a pattern out of fleece. Rainbow Dash's cutie mark was hand painted on using fabric paint.

The wig was commissioned from ankin that I found on deviantArt. She hand colored a blond wig, styled it for me, and then shipped it over from Germany. :D
Also, the design I used was based loosely off of art by Platina-Jolteon on deviantArt

The ears and wings were made out of craft foam and then painted blue. Wings are being held on via a ribbon wrapped 10 gauge wire back 'harness' with elastic over the shoulders to hold them on.

I loved this costume! It is the first one I've made that's comfortable enough to wear around a convention all day and still be pain-free so it will definitely be coming back out again....probably for Ikkicon VI :D
