Construction Details:

I used Simplicity Pattern 8117--it's actually a pattern from the 1980s so I'm going to take a wild guess it's not in print anymore!

I updated the cosplay to what I had in mind originally! Same pattern. But I changed the tiers. Also, I added a bolero jacket/shrug. It's from McCall's 4450.

Personal Thoughts:

Started watching MLP:FiM after reading an article about "bronies" and eventually got into it myself. xD (Or RE-into it since I liked MLP as a kid.) I had no idea so many of my other friends watched it too. Cosplaying from it was inevitable, to say the least. 8D I had a hard time deciding between Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack but Pinkie won in the end.

Styling Notes

I counted drying time too, so this wig was about 20 minutes, more or less. I cut off some of the length and instead of pinning it up into a pony-tail like I did originally (in the first wig pics posted~), I cut the pony-tail off and glue it to a hair-clip. Styling the curly bang took more time, just because I had to wait for parts of it to dry.
