Construction Details:

I've made enough ballgowns by this point that the base was easy enough to come together. It was all the ridiculous details I decided I needed, lol.
The whole dress sits on top of my elliptical hoop skirt and it one solid piece (odd, as I usually have at least a separate bodice and skirt). Once I had everything sewn together I spray glittered the whole thing. (there is never enough sparkle in Rose of Versailles! lol).
Each bow is hand made for shape and size. And the draping down the middle was hand ruched.
