Construction Details:

Hnghhhh Blood was...a labor of love. Painful love. PAINFUL. Haha. From the top up!
Hat was constructed out of craft felt and covered with a suede. The flowers were bought and I bought a lawn ornament for the feathers and custom-built them. The suits are craft foam painted and the cards are done by hand.
The bow uses the stamp from the hat and is made from satin.
The undershirt is a crepe satin--the color was RIDICULOUSLY hard to find because while Blood doesn't wear a PINK shirt, it's still a baby/pale pink...which is hard to come by this season apparently.
The vest and coat were both made from cream dull satin. The bias on both is hand-made (BIGGEST. PAIN. IN THE ASS. EVER.) with yellow dull satin. The interior of the coat taffeta lining that I had left over from a never completed cosplay YEARS ago. The stamp is blown up from a game reference and was stamped on. The suits are craft foam again. Pants are from my Cantarella cosplay and the gloves are bought. The spats are actually from a Simplicity pattern that I managed to find (it's a newer pattern, woohoo!) and the shoes use good ol' fashioned schoolchildren elastic pull-on colonial belts LOL

The cane was not made by me so I can't take credit for it.

Personal Thoughts:

EUGHPEAGH;;; BRRRROOOOODDDDDDD. I have issues with this costume. Particularly my vest and pants never like to agree with one another, but it's definitely one of the most comfortable/easist costumes I have ever worn and one that has been in the public eye more than I have ever expected. xD It's great though and I have enjoyed the company of those who appreciate the series and friends in this cosplay :]
