Construction Details:

The level of craftsmanship for this outfit is way beyond my capabilities, so I had it commissioned. It was really well done to begin with, but I proceeded to modify it a bit for even more accuracy after I received it. I added some fleur de lis decorations to it. I couldn't really find silver ones at...(Read More) the time so I went with gold. I figured it'd match the gold design I added to the straps across the chest. I learned the real way to fold shide and make Reimu's gohei out of paper. Surprisingly it lasted through the con after I thrashed it around a lot!

I got to use my real hair for this (yay!!), except for the ponytail which was an extension. I had time to grow out my hair since it was pretty much just like hers to begin with. I grew out the sides for hairtubes and then cut my bangs 2 weeks before the con. The hairtubes are metal...tube thingies with a design on them. Kinda heavy but they stayed on with magic c:
