Construction Details:

Loosely based on Dissidia alt/Amano art, with extra detail barf. I think I bought about thirty different fabrics for this o_o

I modified a princessy bodice pattern for the top and added enormous poofy sleeves. I made my own patterns for the pants and collar. There are three capes, the main one with flame-shaped appliques and fringe and two on the sides that are gradient dyed silk.

The hairpiece is just a bunch of feathers glued to a metal comb. I dyed the ostrich plumes with Rit dye.

My first boots were fabric boot covers, but I didn't think they were fancy enough. For my second time wearing this costume, I altered a pair of boots to make them asymmetrical and painted them white with floral spray paint. I really need to redo these cause the paint cracked horribly :(

Makeup design is based off a fanart by Sakizo. I used PAX paint for my hands and neck.

Personal Thoughts:

It was kind of crazy to take this on as my third costume ever, but I have a ton of fun wearing it!!

Styling Notes

I took out the wefts in the bottom half of the wig and sewed them back in upside down, to make a smooth ponytail. I also did some additional ventilating of the hairline to make it cover more of my hair, but I still had to shave my hairline to wear this wig @_@
