Construction Details:

The corset is made from stretchy faux leather with plastic boning and built-in bra cups. The lacing in the front is a fixed panel, and it laces in the back to close and adjust the fit. The tutu itself has built-in boyshorts underneath, for modesty. I made them from fuchsia metallic spandex, then sewed gathered layers of glitter tulle to the waist to make the skirt. There is a longer layer in back to help conceal my rear. The waistband is black metallic spandex with black vinyl panels in the front that hold the lacing detail in place. The bolero is made from a matte poly satin, and has iridescent fuchsia lining. The gloves are black vinyl with a lace-up panel on the underside... they actually turned out a bit too small so I need to remake them before I wear this again. Because the skirt wasn't shiny enough as-is, I sprinkled it with some hotfix fuchsia Swarovski crystals. The pendant was made from an asymmetrical chunk of rose-color crystal that was epoxied into a gold filigree cone.

It took guts for me to wear this.
