Construction Details:

I used a leotard for the base and altered elbow length gloves, but the hip roll and everything green or pink was made by me. This skirt/hip roll and collar are detachable, so I can reuse it if I ever decide to be a different Sailor Scout. However, because the skirt droops in back, I think I might attach the skirt to the leotard in the future. Also, I used stuffing on the hip roll and shoulder rolls, which turned out a bit lumpy, so I plan on remaking them with quilt batting.

The tiara, earrings, and heart broach were made by a friend who is currently majoring in jewelry and metals. The tiara is real metal bent in the shape of my forehead, and it's held in place by hair combs (welded to the tiara) and spirit gum for extra support.

Styling Notes

My real hair was pulled back into a bun and the ponytail extension fit over the bun. I cut about 3-4 inches off the overall length of the hairpiece.
