Construction Details:

I began the yellow kimono two years ago before getting distracted and frustrated and not finishing it. I picked it back up, changed some things, added the flowers, and went with it. The flowers on the kimono and obi are all satin-stitch applique done by machine. The obi is stiffened with a heavy interfacing and the detachable blow is fluffed with batting.

I forgot a few pieces to my outfit for the photoshoot, but I plan on wearing it again, so hopefully I'll remember them next time.
