CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
Getting fabric for this dress was such an adventure! I went to so many stores and even shopped online for fabric (which I don't like to do) then at a last chance sorta thing I went to Joann's (again) and there is was! Its a semi shiny crinkly fabric because when I think Greek I think crinkle. I wanted as much of it as I could get and bought 7yds. To line it I used bridal satin. Even though her dress is flat in the series I really liked it with a little poof to it so I wear a hoop skirt underneath the dress.
The cincher was so fun to make! I made my own pattern based off of one of the images I had. I used a stretch pvc/lycra gold fabric. I didn't want there to be lines in the cincher its self so I made one in muslin first, put boning in the muslin then sewed my muslin cut out around the cincher. Also this helped when I put in my eyelets in the back. The jewles are just sewen or glued on.
The arm band, choker and hair piece are made from wonderflex and the blue necklace are clear beads I painted blue. The wig is bought from ebay that I cut to how I liked it.
