Construction Details:

I think everything was made from scratch for this project. For the sari I think I have about 4.5 yards of fabric in it. The trim is made using baby quilt binding that has been ironed and refolded. I originally made a stencil for the pattern, but the paint was bleeding too badly on the material so since I had one week til con, I settled on iron on transfers. It was a pain, and there are things I would have done differently in retrospect, but it worked.

Necklace was made using leftover beads from Vanille. The matching bead was made with sculpy. It was much easier the second time.

The lance was made 3 days before the con. It was my first major prop work. I did everything except glue the blades on.

Personal Thoughts:

I didn't really think anything could be more difficult than Vanille, but Fang was deceptively complicated! I really love cosplaying her though. Fang and Vanille are definitely my favorites!
