Construction Details:

Mira..Mira..Mira... Ever had that costume that you said, "boy, this looks great! I would love a challenge!" and then half-way through you are like, "What did I get myself into?" Yup. this one was it for me. The wig was a plain white wig I bought from ebay, in which I dyed into three colors using the FW ink dying method. I like it much better than the Sharpie method. The hair piece is made out of shrinky dink, foam, paper mache and cut-up balloons. I sewed the piece directly into the wig for stability. I made the body suit from a pattern I made myself using an old shirt, wrapping myself with duct tape, then cutting it into pieces (the pieces were then used as a pattern). All the armor is made from Sintra, all free from my local sign shops (thanks negativedreamer for the idea). I then sprayed paint them with a plastic fusable paint, then on top of that used primer paint THEN the color I needed. I could go on and on about this costume. But for now, I'll leave it at this. I'll update more later!
