I love Harvest Moon. ALOT. And after doing my Harvest Goddess, I felt like I needed to do another Harvest Moon costume. I thought the witch's character design for Harvest Moon Animal Parade was adorable, so I had to do it! The Witch was my first costume that I had to focus on sewing more than anything else. I used a Simplicity Renaissance pattern for her top and another Simplicity pattern for her bloomers. The bloomer's material was a white cotton fabric that I sewed bias tape to give it the stripes. It took hours to iron and sew the bias tape, but it was completely worth it! I made them one size bigger and knee-length so after sewing them I pulled them up to give it the poofiness!
