Construction Details:

First time making a jumpsuit sort of thing and it proved more difficult than I'd expected. Every other piece was relatively easy - it was the jumpsuit that took the most time, also because it's the biggest part of this costume. That wig was a pain - it was pricy and came with snarls in it. Also, it just refused to hold any styling I did to it.

Personal Thoughts:

Not my favorite costume, but I do think it's a shame I probably won't wear it again. The wig is a colossal mess and the neck of the jumpsuit is cut way lower than it should be (a problem I didn't notice until it was too late.) The best part of this cosplay was getting recognized by people. It's refreshing to find fans for something as obscure as the Ganbare Goemon franchise.
