Construction Details:

The costume was a labor of love, my first time working freehand with spandex and my first time drafting a pattern all on my own. The body suit is made of five different colors of two different types of stretch fabrics (The yellow is jersey knit, the rest is spandex. I'd forgotten to order some yellow. Hahaha.) The staff is made from PVC pipe and green spraypaint. The cape and shinguards are made with pleather, lined with a yellow cotton. The boots were entirely hand made and attached to a pair of platform sandals I'd bought years ago for something different.
