About this Costume

The parts of the costume I did not make are the pants, belt, dress shirt, watch, black base hat, shoes, and bracelet. I did however mod many things.
To start things off, I modded the base black golf hat. I basically hot-glued the pieces for the different colored parts after pinning them perfectly into place. I made sure to place it in such a way that the hot-glued cloth folded in a natural way, making it seem as though the hat came like that. XD I even hot-glued some felt onto the underside of the cap for extra accuracy - it's something that isn't really noticeable ;D.
I then took a few buttons that have a really nice finish to them and sewed them onto the base black tie which I had lying around.
I then proceeded in making the actual vest out of suiting fabric in an off-white and gray. I drafted my own pattern for the vest from scratch, lining it with the same fabric as the outside. I then sewed in and cut open buttonholes, along with sewing on the actual buttons. I modified the back of the vest a bit (removed the look of the triangles - looked somewhat unflattering) to give it a cleaner look and even includes a buckle. ;D - Personal Thoughts:
- Kotetsu is one of my favorite characters in the series TIGER&BUNNY, and he is one that I can actually relate to VERY well.

- Styling Notes
- When I received the wig in the mail, the color was too light of a brown to my liking, and so I took two permanent black markers and hand-dyed the entire wig. The dyeing of the wig is what took the longest time, and the styling came last when I was finally satisfied with the wig\'s color.
