Made for AGSMA's entry in 2010 for SDCC Masquerade. I love VanillaWare very much, and this game seemed like a great one for our team; fantastical beasts, gorgeous costumes, and a skit by Genjitsu that was...Incredibad, Lonely Island style. Please check out the Skits page to see the hilarious skit! I was proud to work with my wonderful team of waynekaa, genjitsu, furtech, liddo-chan, pikacello, and two new members - saravana and umi! THIS COSTUME, THOUGH. It is probably the most well-constructed costume I've ever done (since I had to run on the stage), but oh my god. The sleeves alone took 7 hours per side. It is unfortunate that the entire kimono came out on the warmer orange side, but it was pink-enough to suit me and the team. Pikacello made the armor for both of us (she made Kisuke), and I painted it all for the both of us. Team effort! That last picture with the SF Giant's bear is a tribute to their World Series 2010 win. Since 2010 SDCC Masq, I've worn this costume with pikacello, saravana and umi again in a VanillaWare Team Power! play (Odin's Sphere), and I hope to wear it again! It is a comfortable, albeit breezy, costume.
