Construction Details:

This costume was deceptively trickier than I thought. Luckily Melissa was super detailed and aced at pattern-editing! Her sister, and even Kat, were a huge help with cutting, ironing, and modelling ;U;

The outfit was a three piece; the pleated skirt, an inner shirt with mandarin collar, and an outer shirt with sailor collar. We basically had a sleepover while making all three uniforms xD Oh CLAMP and all their lines lines~

The armbands, buttons, and crown pendants were also made by Melissa and her sister. The thigh-highs were dyed. The bootcovers were made from vinyl and were a diaster OTL

Personal Thoughts:

I love love Angelic Layer, it was one of my favorite series in my elementary/middle school years! When Melissa and I were deciding CLAMP outfits to make, I just HAD to suggest this! So pleaseeed!

Styling Notes

I cut the wig short in the back, since it was originally a long, curly wig, it retained the waviness/ruffles I was looking for. I trimmed the bangs, and kept the front two strands longer.
