About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Outfit was free drafted. Top made of stretch polyester. Skirt is a combo of a stretch jersey underskirt with vinyl panels decorated with recycled Christmas ornaments. Shorts originally made of cotton in 2009, but now made of stretch jersey. Gloves originally made of felt, now made of short stretch faux fur recycled from moogle costume. Arm and leg warmers made of recycled beach mats.
Hammer made from two clay planting pots, drum pads, recycled belts, wood laminate, and wood dowel. The hammer weighs approximately 40lbs and won't even fit in my car, so I can only bring it to special events. - Personal Thoughts:
- Sengoku Basara is my favorite guilty pleasure video game series. Itsuki was my first competition costume and really started my cosplay journey in Hawaii. I love Itsuki because she's got a cute character design and obviously wields the awesome hammer.
