Construction Details:

Hat is a piece of cardboard, cut and curled then covered in gold lame fabric. The big bow at the back is made from red, black and white satin. The top is made of blue velveteen, with sky blue and white satin for the puff sleeves, white satin for the collar, and rickrack for the decoration down the front. Belt is sky blue satin. Gold brooch and buckle made from cardboard and lame fabric like the hat. Cape is red satin. Sword is bought from Toys R Us. Gloves, tights, the ring and shoes are store-bought.

I styled my own hair and did my own makeup. Green contacts were also worn.

Personal Thoughts:

A low-effort Halloween costume for going to a theme park in Hong Kong. Old-school Tezuka REPRESENT! :D
