Construction Details:

Well because there in my opinion wasn't a lot to this particular costume I was able to go all out. I made every piece from styling the wig down to the shoes. I even went so far as to custom color all the jewelry and put it together. The wig required mostly layering but it was a nice thick wig so it made me sad to cut so much of the fiber out. A nice local find if I do say so myself. I self patterned the vest and skirt adding a little riveting to the vest for the side straps. The gauntlets are molded craft foam cured with glue and mod podge and then painted with a gold base paint. The cloak was it's own worry as I hand painted the trim with puffed paint to give it a bit more dimension and the shoes I made full out on my own there is no base shoe in there at all. And that is about it for Kail.

Personal Thoughts:

Those shoes would have been great if it hadn't been like a million degrees outside. =(
