Construction Details:

I spent months researching, travelling for materials, collecting materials and ordering various items online. I first got a wide neck body suit then found the vinyl and cut into various pieces. I quilted the blue and black and the gold and black materials for the arms and leg pieces myself (which I'm not happy with in the end but it did the trick for the time frame that I had.) My boyfriend, who loves me very much lol, hand drew the houndstooth on the fabric for the bottom/boot portion of the costume. I even contacted the designer Shawna Trpcic and she was so nice and helpful. The contacts I ordered where discontinued so I had to settle with another pair, which in the end is not even the pair I received, but again, it worked for the time being. I will be reordering a better pair in the future. I will definitely be remaking this costume with better vinyl and I am determined to get the quilted pieces exact! My boyfriend did the makeup. We used different blues of Mehron Lux Airbrush makeup and then he hand painted the veins.

How was the wig colored?

I bleached the front of the wig and then dyed it with Manic Panic Electric blue. I then added blue extensions around the wig.
