Construction Details:

Drafted the top of the dress from one of my pre existing summer shirts. Gathered about 100 meters around the bust to make the width of the dress bigger. Most annoying part was all the pinning while making and attaching the blue triangles along the bottom.

Personal Thoughts:

I had promised to cosplay Ranka summer of 2010 and continued to put it off. But we decided to cosplay Macross girls for a summer cosplay event and I had to finish the costume XD; Im pretty happy with how it all turned out.
