Personal Thoughts:

Obviously, I like every kid of the 80's watched Voltron on tv. When they started showing it on Cartoon Network when I was 15, I revisited my childhood watching all the episodes again. When I found out Media Blasters released the original uncut versions of GOLION AKA Voltron on DVD a couple of years ago, I had to see it!! After watching the first couple of episodes, I started to feel like I was lied to as a kid....Golion is soooo different from Voltron!! Voltron had that super cheese effect. Golion is much more serious. They cut out quite a bit to make it for children in the U.S. As an adult, I love golion so much!! It's not half as annoying and cheesy as Voltron. Give it a shot! I'm sure if u like mecha and 80's like me, it's sure to please! As a celebration on finishing all 52 episodes subtitled on DVD, I decided to put together a Golion group for Nekocon last year. Me being Chibi because he was my favorite character. Unfortunately, things fell through for Nekocon, so we haven't gotten together a whole group yet for photos. I wore my costume to Otakon hoping a lot more people would recognize what I was cosplaying. This being my first costume wearing glasses, I think no one knew it was me! heheh
