Construction Details:

The boots, stockings, pants, the extra fluffy jabot and the pince nez period glasses were not bought for this costume but were bought by me previously at random venues. The coat was bought online but tailored to fit by me (no sowing machine so it's all by hand.) Worn at Otakon 2011 with the Funimation Hetalia cosplaying crew during the Saturday Q&A and Saturday autograph session.

Personal Thoughts:

I have always admired Austria so I decided that for my first anime cosplay I would don the garb of the musical gentleman. The wig was tough as I have very thick medium length hair, but it managed to stay in place. There is more work to be done on this costume but I was so honored to be picked out of line to participate with the Funimation Hetalia staff on Saturday at Otakon 2011. You guys are amazing!
