Fai is a gentlemen, so I chose nicer, textured fabrics. (Anime is all flat, so it gives you a bit more freedom on those terms). This was the first time I attempted Appliques. I think it turned out rather well! I'm still working on the 2nd layer, the blue coat, and my Staff. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever finish it...
