Construction Details:

Most of this outfit is default stuff I already use, and I've owned all of it since starting high school. Everything except the tie is my high school uniform, except I used an actual shirt rather than the school polo, and I bought a Gryffindor tie from Wizard Ties ages ago to be dorky on some days. Derpelstein made me a movie-accurate wand out of a peppermint stick and paper with hotglue and it's sort of bending at the end because I keep insisting on hitting things with it and drumming along to music. I didn't end up bothering sewing/painting stripes onto my sweater because "it's just the movie," which is also why I didn't bother with a robe (dude, it was July. Ignore that summer didn't come this year). In the photos, the robe and scarf I may have been wearing belonged to Derpelstein, also bits and pieces she's collected over the years. She was using them for Sirius.

Personal Thoughts:

For the FINAL FILM. MY CHILDHOOD. GOODBYE. FARE THEE WELL. Remus Lupin is my favorite fictional character so I was really happy to actually put SOME cosplay skills to work rather than just having a Hogwarts uniform I'd whip out every now and again. I'm sad that my scar washed out in photos, but that's my own fault. If I bring this back I'll make it stand out better, maybe use some actual scar makeup rather than just drawing lines on my face (oops lmao)
