Construction Details:

The top, obi, gloves and stockings are all made out of varying shades of cotton interlock. I based the pattern for the top off of a kimono top, and changed it as I needed. The obi, stockings and gloves I made up basically on the spot. As for the lacing on the stockings, that I need to re-make. The raiment, which is my favorite part of the costume, is made of a nice, shiny organdy fabric, sewn around wire that I painted pink. *Sparkly* pink. The raiment can be bent into any shape, which makes it convenient for packing and photo ops. The hair clip is made of air-dry clay which I cut into the shape of the skull and painted.
