Construction Details:

When my older sister was in high school, my mom spiral curled her hair as I watched. Kristi (my sister) mentioned that if we did that with my hair, I would look like Claudia. I, of course, being 11, did not understand (I was not allowed to see the movie). Well, a few years ago, after I obsessively read the books and saw the movie a million times, My mom made me the costume, and later the cape. The wig was an addition for Megacon 2004 when my friend Lyn (aka Lucifer) asked me to cosplay her (Mom and I hated with a passion curling my hair for three hours or whatever). Megan's outfit was easy, I had that dress for her already.

Personal Thoughts:

As uncomfortable as this costume is, I love playing Claudia. Sure, I am a LOT older than she should be, but she is fun to play!!
