Construction Details:

Panty was one of the simplest outfits I've done, so I wanted to make it crisp. I used JoAnn casa crepe (same stuff I used for Nia's wedding dress) since it has a subtle sheen, without going all the way to satin. I followed a pattern pretty closely, going for an overlapped V-neck with puckering since it works better for my particular body shape. I ultimately felt way more comfortable, while still baring all the cleavage that Panty does, hurr hurr. I learned how to do gathers/ruffles better AFTER this outfit, so I'm disappointed this didn't turn out as well as a later project, but I'm really happy with it regardless! Wings were borrowed from Lin-Z's Mia Fey costume, and are originally by Yaya Han. I had fun shopping for the tiara, pearls, and shoes, too. :)

Personal Thoughts:

Similar to how my Brief, Umi-kun, feels about the subject, my relationship with PSG is also sort of awkward, LOL. I dunno how to explain it, but I love everything about it except the experience of watching the actual anime. It's way too over-the-top lewd for me. The glimmering good things about it are the music, the fandom, the character designs and personalities, and those precious couple moments where the characters got cute or endearing (ALL OF EPISODE 12 COUGH). I think Brief is the cutest thing ever, and the effect he eventually had on Panty was what finally drew me to think of her as more than a bitchy slut. I had a great time acting outside my element for her. Thanks to Corey for making us look so damn attractive in these shots! D8
