About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Tashigi is of one my favourite One Piece characters, and one of my first cosplays. So I decided it was time for a re-make after 7 years! rnrnThe blouse is a yellow twill that was hand-stenciled/painted. There were over 50 flowers on the fabric before it became the blouse. The jacket is denim, lined with poplin. I used a minky, sherpa-like fur instead of a shaggy, pile fur since my machine cannot handle that type of faux fur. It's super-soft, and easy to work with! Gloves are leather, and found on eBay! rnrnThe sword was originally a started 5-day rushed thing from paper-mache, foam board, and any found items I could gather. It was eventually replaced by a modified wooden bokken. rnrnAll and all, a fun costume!
- Personal Thoughts:
- This costume is wicked comfy and I cannot wait to wear it again.
