Construction Details:

The costume was actually made as a collaboration with our group La Soldier - I was responsible for two of the wigs (including my own), body suits, and several of the shoes, and other cosplayers in the group did the rest of the costume pieces. The boots for Sailor Jupiter are the first time I've ever used Meltonian Color Sprays to change the color of leather and that has basically changed my life. It's like the Industrial Revolution of shoe dyeing. Styling Notes

This is the first time I've ever put a wig into a ponytail - it was an adventure, but one well worth the effort. I used a caulking method to get the ponytail, which was fairly simple (and made me prone to a lot of jokes about what people assumed I was doing when I said "I'm going upstairs to get some more caulking done") and really only complicated because of my inexperience.
