Construction Details:

The most arduous part of making this costume was either the petticoats (which are three layers of tulle on one petticoat, in addition to a store-bought pink crinoline from Harajuku, and they STILL aren't as puffy as I'd like them to be) or coloring the skirt petals, which I tried to dye twice before giving up and painting them by hand. My fiancee and co-conspirator made the prop bow, and I bought the wig on Ebay, where it was sold as a Chibi Moon wig. I just ... removed many pieces of it.
